my name is miguel...i am half mexican...half everything else white...i am bilingual but i have a southern accent...i am american though and i like to think ive aquired the desirable qualities from both cultures....i love to do all sorts of things....i hate it when people complain about nothing to do....there are all sorts of things to do everyday!!i love writing poetry..i love to hike and camping, i love camping! i love being outside...my daughter is with me half the time...she is two and she is the center of my attention...i love every second with her.i love to sing and play guitar....i love to read. i love to paint and create..i am a big nerd and i love star watching and talking about theories and physics, galaxies and quasars....i never get tired of thinking...my imagination is overactive. i love to wonder and i never grow tired of questioning everything always...i love to learn...im back in school again...i've decided to do something i love for a living...i will have a career in the environmental field...not sure which direction yet....thats up to God....i am not a bible thumper but i try to live by many of its outlines which i believe are very detrimental to a happy life...im not a prude either by any means...i love to laugh and have fun....you dont have to be a heathen to have fun and laugh your head off....but i have been a heathen before and a very crazy one at that but you have to learn who you're not and what you don't want in this life before you can know anything.

an awesome person who will talk just as much as me but listen at the same time...someone very 11 dimensional...im very passionate about life and i have to be with someone with the same vigor. someone that never gives up...someone rooted...i have a little girl and im raising her to be a woman. so i would need to be with a woman, not a girl...just saying...i just want to meet someone ive never met. and ive met all types of people but ive never met that person that gets it...its always such a battle it seems.....it should be very easy...not life but being with someone to laugh and cry about life....being should be easy....most people forget to just be.

hmmmmmm.......im a slow mover.....im a full time student and i work full time and im a daddy...so i dont wanna jump into anything.....if it's supposed to be it will be.....and we'll know what sort of relationship its supposed to be.

my daughter's name is Ava Rain Torres....she totally exceeds my expectations every single day....She is brilliant and beautiful and pretty funny....if only she would use the potty. i could seriously go on all day and night but i wont for now.

What about your life are you most proud of (besides your kids)?
i came from nothing and am pretty much self taught in every aspect of life....i had a very hard childhood to say the least and my teen years werent kind to me either but i made it this far..and i am 293 times the dad mine ever was so yeah i think its ok to be proud of that....

If you could have changed something about your life so far, what would it be?
i would have danced more when i felt like it....i cant dance at all. Nietzche said a person should everyday spent without dancing at least once is a day wasted.

favorite books....the bell jar by sylvia plath....survivor by chuck pahlinuik.....extremely loud and incredibly close by jonathan sofran foer...no spell check on that sry...favorite movies....i love indie films and french films....noir films from the 50's....silent films....i dislike comedies unless its very dry sarcastic humor...smart comedies rather....i dislike action movies..my life has been action packed enough without crappy dialogue....i like some new mainstream movies but not many....i dont watch much t.v.....my guilty pleasure is football though...but i dont have to watch every game or anything...music....i love good music..no rap. no country. sry. i love beethoven....bob dylan...yeah yeah yeahs...fiona apple....modest mouse....a lot of hard rock and heavy metal roots growing up though....

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
oh no more self describing boxes......i am a technician at a huge factory and if i tried to describe my job it would get complicated but it basically deals with huge machines.....do i enjoy it? we all need money unfortunately to survive and it provides...i dont whistle and click my heels with a lunch pail in my hands as i go to work but i dont complain about it either....i am very grateful to have a job in this economy...and its not bad or gruesome so i guess i enjoy it......i dont believe in wishing i were somewhere or someone else....im right where im supposed to be....i work nights but i have to so i can go to school during the day....but i work two days and then off two so it works out....

i think i accidentally answered this in a previous box......i forgot to mention that i love pizza though....

i hate filling in these "about me" boxes....the only things i hate in this world are few....onions. smoking. country music. rap music. ignorance. racism. laziness. greed. cruelty. closed mindedness. smoking....i really hate smoking.

i am too much of a rambler to summarize this one.....i grew up in the south....i was the only "hispanic" kid in a predominantly white town nestled in the northeast ga foothills.....it was interesting to say the least....

no pets.....i want a dog so bad.....but it can wait...the last dog i lost hurt me bad....

i love to run and work out regularly...i dont aspire to be some huge lump of muscle knots but i just want to live a long time and i want to be able to carry my wife and kids to bed without wheezing....not all at the same time though...seperately...
