I am a princess looking for her prince. I believe you are out there but in the words of Michael Buble' "I just haven't met you yet." I have many interests (face it, the world is an interesting place) that include: Singing karaoke; shopping; reading; interior design; spending time with my son; hanging out with the girls and many more. I believe happiness if a frame of mind and life is what you make of it. I think almost anything can be fun with that attitude. I am a single mom of a wonderful 13 year old son. He is currently in remission from cancer. I am so blessed to have him, what a fighter! After facing cancer, most of the curve balls life throws are no sweat in comparison.

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I would like a hopeless romantic, someone who knows it truly is the little things that count. A man of honor. A man that takes pride in all his endeavors. A good sense of humor and a kind heart. At my age I would want a man with a job, car and someone that does not live in his parent's basement, lol.

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
I want the romance. I want to be courted. I want to be able to give love and kindness to someone that appreciates it. I want a best friend and partner in crime.

Do you have kids? Tell about them.
I am the single mom of a 13 year old boy. He is still very sweet to his mom and hasn't started the sarcastic teenager stage. Maybe he will skip it. We have a great relationship and I am very proud of him. My goal is to raise him to be a terrific husband and dad someday. He's got a great start!

What about your life are you most proud of (besides your kids)?
I am proud of how I treat other people. I feel that I have empathy and really do like most people. I feel everyone has redeeming qualities if you take the time to see them.

If you could have changed something about your life so far, what would it be?
I would have saved my son from having cancer. He has gone through so much and has been in so much pain. If it were possible for me to have been sick instead of him, I would have done it in a second.

What are your favorite things to eat (or what do you like to cook)?
I like taco pizza, salads and fresh salsa as my favorites. I make an awesome veggie pizza and a favorite way to cook chili.

Where do you like to go out (on a date, with friends, to meet people)? Name some places.
My friends and I like to sing karaoke. I like to hang out at Barnes and Noble. A walk is nice.

Name some of your all-time favorite music / movies / TV / books.
I have recently become a "Hairball" groupie. They are an 80's tribute band and I love to see them in concert. I love all kinds of music. I read a couple of books a week. I don't watch very much tv. I have a great movie collection.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I am a small business owner. We do residential organization and cleaning. We also do personal shopping and decorating. I love to clean, organize and shop so my job is perfect! I like being my own boss!

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Karaoke, shopping, decorating, girl's weekends out of town and traveling.

What do you hate doing?
I don't like to be around negative people. I have been known to un-friend people that only know how to post poison on facebook.

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
I was born and raised in Iowa. I've lived here most of my life.

I have 1 dog and 2 cats. My dog is named Louie and he is a weiner dog/shitzu mix. He's my best little doggie. My cats are Chloe and Dolly. Chloe is all white and is a long haired turkish angora. She's a diva. Dolly is a black/gray and white tabby. She's a big lover.

What would you say is your best virtue?
I am a true friend. I have such wonderful friends so I am able to appreciate the importance of friendship.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
I do daring and wild things almost every time I am with "the girls". Nothing that has gotten me arrested or would ruin a political career.

Perfume, a picture of my son and a good book.

My dad (from heaven), my son and Robin Williams. We would be laughing so hard!

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
I've always been a little chubby. Men have told me they love my soft skin. I do have a gym membership and I am losing. It will be something I have to work for my whole life. I am who I am and as long as I am healthy I'm happy with that.

How much they say about themselves. I also like (not to come off as shallow) decent spelling and grammar.

What else should we know about you?
I am a true blue friend. My friends are like sisters to me, part of my family. I think I am very blessed. Having great friends has helped me to become a better friend myself.
